We are seeking to appoint an Evening Caretaker to join the Estates department. As a successful and thriving Sixth Form College with around 3,800 students and 320 staff, we are seeking to appoint someone who can bring flexibility, commitment and energy to this important job. This is an evening role looking after the college and venue hires. You will be responsible for general caretaking duties (including room set up, minor repairs and distribution of parcels) to keep the college to a high standard (including security of the site). There will also be some general cleaning duties, particular to cover absence if needed. Contract details: Permanent and Full time (37 hours per week) Working pattern: Monday to Thursday 14:30-22:30 and Friday 13:00-20:30 (with a 30 minute unpaid break) Salary: £26,343 per annum (Spine point 8 of grade 3 in the Support Pay Spine) Pro rata Salary increases to £27,733 per annum over 3 years Annual leave entitlement 24 days per year plus bank holidays. This will increase after 5 years’ service.
