Electrical Street Lighting Operative
You will report directly to the Contracts Manager and be responsible for the following (not exhaustive):
* Ensure routine and non-routine maintenance is carried out
* Install and remove columns, posts, bollards, and illuminated signs
* Identify and repair client-owned cable networks
* Clean and paint street furniture and perform related tasks
* Maintain plant to high standards, ensuring compliance and reporting defects
* Complete preventative maintenance tasks as per contractual obligations
* Document all work in line with SHE policies and maintenance systems
To succeed as an Electrical Street Lighting Operative, the ideal candidate will have proven experience in street lighting within the Civil Engineering industry and possess:
* Ability to work independently and in teams under tight deadlines
* Effective communication skills
* Full UK manual driving license with no more than 6 penalty points
* G39, IPAF, NRSWA, Manual Handling, Abrasive Wheel, HGV Class 2 / 7.5t license, First Aid at Work, Testing and Inspection qualifications
