This business within Grantham, Lincolnshire are seeking a Production Supervisor to join their fun, professional and outgoing team on a full-time permanent basis. What is critical is you! Your personality and passion as my client are prepared to invest full training for you to succeed and be another high-retaining member of staff.
Hours of work are Monday – Friday, with flexibility desired to cover either morning or afternoon shifts of 8 hours. In return you'll be offered company events, health and well-being programme, paid volunteer time, and a remunerations between £27,000 – £28,000.
This company are growing, so it's a very exciting time to be coming on board and being a part of the team. You will need to be able to Supervise and guide of large numbers of staff working in production area alongside the following are a must:
•Be able to report any breakdowns or malfunctions on any machines on the units to Shift Manager/Production Manager and Engineers
•Ensure H&S guidelines are always followed and to report any deficiencies immediately.
•To make quality checks on operators and work being processed on units.
•Working with Shift Manager to maximise efficient use of staff and machinery resources to meet workload.
•Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team. Identify any training required by staff if necessary.
•To be able to display the ability to recognise the quality of linen/garments etc.
•To ensure locations of work are ready to commence at the correct timing of shifts, along with enforcing a clean/tidy area of work post shift.
•Have the ability to investigate complaints and instigate corrective action.
•Ensure your team are aware of the targets set for shift and are met.
This role is a great opportunity if you're working within a supervisory position currently, or seeking that next step from assistant supervisor within a manufacturing or food production. Due to the nature of this position, you must have the ability to be proficient in basic maths for inventory management and production calculations. Excellent communication and leadership skills are sought after.
