We are seeking a polished and proactive Receptionist to join the Front of House team at a prestigious client office Covent Garden. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous corporate reception experience who delivers top-tier service and thrives in a dynamic, people-facing role.
32 hours/week Monday to Thursday
About the Role:
Be the face of the business - greeting guests, managing sign-ins, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Relay important visitor information, such as fire alarm testing and building policies.
Manage meeting room bookings and preparation, ensuring all logistics (catering, cleaning, security) are in place.
Handle administrative tasks: scanning, filing, post/couriers (DHL, Royal Mail), redirecting invoices, etc.
Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area and monitor office supplies and stationery.
Comply with security and visitation procedures via manual and digital systems.
Maintain internal office updates and the events calendar through the app.
Support with facilities issues (e.g. lighting, AC, leaks) by reporting through the proper channels.
Assist with internal events, ad hoc tasks, and communication between FOH and team assistants.
Ensure a comprehensive Reception Manual is always up to date and available.
Serve coffees/hot drinks to guests (barista training provided).
Fire warden and first aid training required (or willingness to obtain)
About You: Experience in a similar front-of-house or customer-facing role.
Warm, professional presence with a positive, can-do attitude.
Excellent communication, organisation, and multitasking skills.
Strong attention to detail and tech confidence (MS Office).
Smart, presentable, and calm under pressure.
