Project Manager – Retrofit / External Refurbishment (Dundee-based) Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Sector: Social Housing / Retrofit / EWI Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in external refurbishment and retrofit works? We’re working with a leading contractor who is expanding their site management team. Delivering a strong pipeline of retrofit and external wall insulation (EWI) contracts across Scotland, with immediate opportunities in Dundee. The Role: Due to recent contract awards and ongoing success in the retrofit market, our client is seeking a hands-on Project Manager to oversee refurbishment projects. Working on occupied social housing properties, with a focus on external fabric upgrades such as roofing, EWI, and rendering. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day site operations including labour and subcontractor coordination. Drive project delivery in line with programme, budget, and quality expectations. Ensure clear communication with tenants via the Tenant Liaison Officer. Uphold site health & safety standards and compliance at all times. Work closely with the Contracts Manager to report progress and manage project risks. What We’re Looking For: Proven experience managing retrofit or refurbishment projects, ideally involving EWI, roofing, and render systems. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate site teams and subcontractors. Excellent organisational and time management abilities. Confidence dealing with multiple stakeholders, including residents, subcontractors, and client representatives. A commitment to delivering high-quality results in occupied residential environments.
