We are recruiting a caring, patient, and enthusiastic LSA to work 1:1 with a pupil in a supportive Gateshead primary school. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about inclusion and believes every child deserves the opportunity to succeed.
About the role:
You will become a key adult in the pupil’s school life - supporting them not only with learning but also with confidence, friendships, and emotional wellbeing.
Your day-to-day could include:
* Supporting learning through creative and adapted activities
* Helping the pupil manage transitions and routines
* Using positive reinforcement and behaviour strategies
* Encouraging communication and social interaction
* Celebrating progress - big and small

* No direct school experience is required; however, any background in care, support work, childcare, or working with young people is highly beneficial
