We are searching for a team member to join us as a Maintenance Electrician at our Immingham Plant.
This role involves working an average of 12 shifts per month, with 12-hour shifts requiring flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends.

What you'll be doing:
You will provide electrical expertise on shift to maximize plant availability through effective preventative maintenance and quick reactive responses to breakdowns. You will support the manufacturing team by assisting with breakdowns, quality issues, technical improvements, and daily operations. You will also support the Shift Manager and assist the Shift Fitter when required, while inputting relevant data into our SAP system and providing clear shift handovers.
* Follow company Health and Safety procedures to ensure safety for yourself and others.
* Implement current H&S standards and environmental policies.
* Prioritize safety and seek advice if unsure about any procedure.
* Provide breakdown assistance as needed.
* Monitor machine failures and suggest changes or improvements to prevent recurrence.
* Carry out online CMB Maintenance, focusing on Thermography and Vibration Analysis.
* Develop and execute preventative maintenance schedules.
* Prepare for maintenance periods, sourcing parts and equipment.
* Identify process improvements through additions and modifications.
* Maintain accurate records of work carried out on T-CON/SAP after training.
* Ensure comprehensive handovers at shift changeovers.
* Participate in daily maintenance meetings when appropriate.
* Build good working relationships with colleagues.
* Lead and participate in projects and process improvements.
* Take responsibility for personal development.
* Operate in line with 5S methodology to ensure workplace efficiency.
What we'd love for you to have:
* Completed electrical apprenticeship with proven problem-solving skills.
* HNC in Electrical Engineering.
* Proficiency with workshop machinery and equipment.
* Technical competence in managing production improvements.
* Knowledge of electrical power, control, and PLC systems (preferably Siemens S7).
* Understanding of manufacturing techniques and standards.
* Knowledge of safe work systems and safety procedures.
* Experience with CMMS systems, ideally SAP.
* Ability to work calmly under pressure.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
