Carlin is looking for a full-time In-Store Retail Sales Specialist to service Hy-Vee Grocery Stores near Sioux Falls, SD. You will be responsible for selling, building relationships with store management, gaining/maintaining distribution within a variety of accounts as well as reporting tasks in a reporting system, with varied merchandising opportunities This is a position where you work independently, follow direction, and have excellent communication skills. Reliable transportation, clean driving records, valid driver’s license, and maintaining auto insurance are all required Location Hybrid- must be local to Sioux Falls, SD, market - with half an admin day on Friday Afternoons from home. This is a high milage role. Servicing Hy-Vee stores in Sioux City, IA, Sioux Falls, SD, and Surrounding areas. Carlin Represent a diverse portfolio of national and regional brands, managing thousands of SKUs across 20 Hy-Vee Stores with a strong focus on driving sales performance Function as the primary liaison between store leadership and manufacturer partners to maximize shelf space, promotional execution, and distribution – directly contributing to sales growth Pitch new products, secure incremental placement, adapt to quickly shifting business needs while consistently delivering sales objectives in a fast-paced retail environment. Utilize mobile technology to take photos, report findings, and complete tasks accurately and efficiently Travel to and between store locations within the designated territory. Must maintain a safe working environment while working in the stores Must adhere to attendance and dress code guidelines Must be able to perform physical activities, i.e., frequent standing, walking, bending, squatting, lifting, etc. throughout the workday Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Attend client kickoff video calls and team check-ins as required.
