About Jupiter+ Dundee
JUPITER+ Dundee is a creative satellite programme by Jupiter Artland that will bring a world class contemporary installation by Lindsey Mendick to Dundee. ‘Growing Pains’, Lindsey Mendicks work contains subversive ceramics with often outrageous & confronting imagery. She is the voice of the vulnerable, confronting issues she faced as a teenager.
Integral to the programme is the Learning studio. This purpose build studio space will deliver inspirational & transformative creative learning driven by the passion of young people. JUPITER+ will spark creativity & conversations that empower individuals to drive change through agency & creative activism.
About the Role
We are seeking to recruit dynamic creatives to facilitate engagement & learning within our purpose built Learning Studio. This role would suit applicants seeking to embark on a career in learning & develop their delivery experience. Support & guidance will be given throughout the project to enable successful candidates to reflect & develop their skills. The Learning team will be based in the Learning Studio delivering workshops to schools, colleges & community groups. Training will be provided, we are keen to seek candidates that have a confident working knowledge of video or model making processes.
Key Responsibilities
•Support delivery of workshops to schools, colleges & community groups.
•Present engaging, positive learning for all participants.
•Undertake evaluative feedback & capture engagement data.
•Maintain stock of learning materials & equipment.
•Maintain a safe, clean & tidy learning studio.
•Support the Jupiter+ Team in coordination of learning groups visits.
•Comply with Health & Safety processes and procedures and other relevant policies set out within the programme.
•Undertake an induction/training session prior to project delivery.
•Champion accessibility, inclusion, diversity, & sustainability throughout programme.
Person Specification
•Experience in delivering creative learning for ages 15+
•Working knowledge of sculptural & video processes.
•A knowledge & passion for contemporary art & innovative learning.
•Able to be on-site in Dundee.
