We are looking for a child-friendly and pet-friendly Live-in Housekeeper for a friendly family who live in a large 5-bedroom home in a beautiful village within Hertfordshire, North of London.
The family is composed of Mum, Dad and 3 children aged between 9-15 years old. In addition to this, there are also 3 small dogs.
The house is a busy home, with lots of people/guests coming and going, but it’s a fun home and environment to be in.
We are looking for a Housekeeper not only to assist with the household duties, but also to become a part of the home and family, someone who is looking to stay long term.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide exceptional service to ensure a welcoming environment for residents and guests
2. Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitising various areas
3. Manage laundry duties, including washing, ironing, and organising clothing and linens
4. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages
5. Manage additional household tasks as needed to support the household's overall functioning
Qualifications:
6. Strong customer service skills to ensure a pleasant experience for household members and guests
7. Basic cooking skills to prepare lights meals for the children
8. Previous domestic cleaning experience to maintain cleanliness and organisation
9. Experience in hotel settings is a plus, demonstrating ability to work in a fast-paced environment
10. Attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Working days and hours: 5 days per week (2 days off during the week) 7am – 7pm with generous breaks (this will be discussed in more detail at interview stage)
Accommodation: Large double bedroom and bathroom on the top floor of the house.
Salary: £50,000+ DOE
