Qualifications
Essential criteria
* Degree level education or equivalent in relevant related subject area
* First Level Registered Nurse
* Teaching and Assessing Course or equivalent
Desirable criteria
* Suitable Management qualification
* Leadership qualification
Skills
Essential criteria
* Ability to lead and direct clinical teams and proactively manage performance to ensure delivery of key operational standards
* Presentation/IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Ability to write clear and concise reports and present information relevant to the sphere of responsibility within deadlines
* Effective communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills; ability to motivate and influence others
* Project management and analytical problem-solving skills
Desirable criteria
* Advanced communication skills
* Experience working in an emergency department at a senior nursing level
Knowledge
Essential criteria
* Experience working in NHS at a senior level
* Root Cause Analysis training
* Operational management experience within Acute services
* Budget management, cost improvement planning, and quality assessment
