Please note, the salary listed is FTE and will be pro-rated for term-time only Job Purpose Teach creative courses to 16 to 25-year-old learners on Level 2 and Level 3 programmes. Help learners, including those with SEND, make progress academically, practically, socially and emotionally. Create a safe, supportive, neuro-affirming and trauma-informed learning environment.Main Duties Plan and deliver engaging creative lessons using practical, visual and hands-on teaching methods. Adapt lessons to suit different learning needs, interests and support requirements. Assess coursework, portfolios and learner progress, giving clear and useful feedback. Set and review learner targets, track progress and support EHCP review evidence. Work with support staff, parents/carers and wider teams to help learners stay on track. Build links with cultural venues and community organisations, including trips, workshops and real-world learning. Requirements Able to start in September 2026 Teaching qualification at Level 3 minimum, with Level 4 or above desirable. English and maths at Level 2 or willingness to achieve this within the first academic year. Experience teaching 16+ learners, ideally including SEND or specialist provision. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook and ideally creative digital tools like Adobe.
