Your Role Will Include:
* Communicating with the relevant people and following personalised care plans to ensure the specific needs of individuals with complex mental health and behavioural challenges are met
* Providing emotional and practical support to individuals in managing their mental health
* Assisting with activities that encourage social interaction, community access, and personal growth
* Offering meal preparation and assistance, considering dietary needs and preferences
* Supporting with medication management, ensuring all care protocols are followed
* Assisting with finances and promoting independence where possible
* Helping with mobility and moving & handling using appropriate equipment (training provided)
* Providing personal care to promote hygiene and dignity, where necessary
* Keeping accurate records of care provided, ensuring the needs of each individual are met
* Supporting individuals in developing positive coping strategies and resilience
