Provides personal care and related services per an established care plan, focusing on patient comfort and needs at home.
Essential Functions
* Assist with activities of daily living: hygiene, ambulation, eating, dressing, and meal prep
* Support patient-specific activities as instructed by a nurse, including dressing reinforcement, exercises, and diet management
* Perform homemaking tasks: cleaning, laundry, and organizing
Qualifications
* High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
* Minimum six months experience as a Personal Care Assistant
* Competency Evaluation compliant with state law
* CPR certification recommended
* Proficiency in English
* Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
* 30-40 hours of basic care training required
