About the Role

If you’re looking for a role where you can genuinely change a young person’s life, this is it. At our school, Teaching Assistants aren’t just classroom support — they are steady, positive forces in a child’s world. They are the trusted adults who help pupils feel safe, understood and capable of achieving more than they ever thought possible.

This is a hands on rewarding role where no two days look the same. You’ll support pupils in the classroom, outdoors, during sensory breaks and enrichment activities — always with patience, empathy and a belief in their potential.

If you’re calm, caring and ready to be part of a team that lifts each other up, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing

1. Supporting individual pupils or small groups with learning tasks
2. Helping pupils regulate emotions through positive relationships and predictable routines
3. Working closely with teachers to adapt activities and resources
4. Encouraging independence, social interaction and emotional resilience
5. Supporting outdoor learning, sensory breaks and enrichment sessions
6. Providing personal care or physical support where required
7. Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils
8. Contributing to a calm, inclusive and purposeful learning environment

12. The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
13. A full driving licence
