The Role
1. Agree Annual Commercial Vehicle Sales Objectives with dealers in line with national objectives.
2. Support dealers to drive sales, profitability and class leading customer service.
3. Gain dealer acceptance to monthly CV wholesales, provide sales channel mix and guidance to minimise stock ageing and ensure effective dealer inventory management.
4. Work with dealers to achieve monthly and quarterly CV Sales objectives .
5. Monitor run rates and work with dealer to address gaps as required.
6. Identify and put plans in place to address dealer performance issues.
7. Utilise Client reporting tools to identify sales opportunities .
8. Drive strong marketing and event activity via the National ‘Marketing Plan’ process.
9. Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts .
10. Monitor mystery shop performance and address any issues and concerns.
11. Maintain a high level of product knowledge and inspire your dealers to do the same.
12. Ensure central communications are quickly understood and actioned.
13. Understand sales process and structure, develop plans to improve efficiency where required, using data analytics to drive results and make informed decisions.
The Candidate
14. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
15. Previous sales management experience would be advantageous as well as proven ability to deliver monthly sales objectives.
16. Ability to connect and form productive relationships with all levels of a franchised commercial vehicle dealer & the vehicle manufacturer.
17. A self-starter, motivated to work remotely to agreed Objectives and KPI’s.
18. An experienced and competent user of Microsoft EXCEL.
19. Proficient other Microsoft applications: Access, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
