Overview
Lead Support Worker role at Home Group in St Albans. Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw), Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm. Pay £13.21 to £15.45 per hour (£25,838 to £30,204 per annum) with benefits including Health Cash Plan.
Responsibilities
* Creating support plans with customers.
* Provide support in a single parent and child service in temporary accommodation; assist customers in daily living activities such as meals, shopping, budgeting, maintaining tenancy, and moving to independent accommodation if possible.
* Carrying out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting and regular reviews.
* Engage in regular, unhurried conversations with customers and collaborate with colleagues.
You bring
* Passion to support customers to live their best life, with attention to detail and collaboration.
* Experience of creating person-centred support plans and helping colleagues work to those plans.
* Experience of coordinating and assessing customer referrals.
* Ability to work on your own initiative, stay calm under pressure and maintain a resilient approach.
Job details
* Flexible with start/finish times to meet customer needs, with occasional adjustments.
* Ability to use technology for creating/updating support plans, online learning, and collaboration with colleagues.
* Enhanced DBS check required; the company pays for it.
