Job Description
You will join our Municipal Water/Wastewater Treatment Group
* Plan and design portions of projects of greater complexity, following appropriate design, engineering codes, government and third‑party standards using engineering principles in conjunction and in concert with design staff.
* Analyze, develop and interpret reports, drawings, analytical data, and other data required for planning and design projects related to Wastewater Treatment.
* Review and determine regulatory requirements (local, State, Federal) that would be applicable to the assignment.
* Prepare and at times present reports or analysis such as design calculations, field data results/conclusions and/or cost estimates. Presentation audiences may include internal team members and external clients.
* May communicate directly with external stakeholders (e.g., vendors, subcontractors, contractors, regulators, etc.).
* Support preparation of proposals and fee estimates.
* Train and mentor early career employees.
* Utilize an advanced understanding of engineering fundamentals and proficiency with relevant computer software packages and engineering and design techniques specific to Wastewater Treatment and hydraulic engineering.
* Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Work effectively in teams comprised of professionals with diverse skill sets, including engineers from other disciplines, scientists and subcontracted professionals.
* Desire to promote Ramboll’s growth through a commitment to delivering high‑quality work products to our clients.
* Troubleshooting and proactive problem solving for field assignments in accordance with project control documents and field guidance documents.
