Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head Chef at The Plough Inn. As Head Chef, you will oversee all kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and maintaining quality control measures working closely with the Owner. You will ensure the highest standards of hygiene and comply with health and safety regulations. Key responsibilities include staff management, inventory control, and fostering a collaborative kitchen team environment while innovating and improving the dining experience for guests.

* Strong culinary skills, including menu planning, food preparation, and creative dish presentation
* Leadership skills to manage, train, and motivate kitchen staff
* Operational skills in inventory management, cost control, and compliance with health and safety regulations
* Exceptional organization skills with a keen eye for detail and quality
* Flexibility, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment
* Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are highly desirable
* Previous experience in a similar Head Chef role is essential
