The School Caretaker is responsible for the property and asset management of the school, liaising daily with the School Business Manager and Headteacher on caretaking and site management issues such as:
* Ensuring the safety and security of the school premises
* Maintaining the internal and external fabric of the school’s premises as a safe working environment
* Maintaining the school swimming pool
What we are looking for:
We are seeking a hardworking, skilled, dependable, and self-motivated individual to join our team. The successful candidate will contribute to the smooth running of the school by organizing and undertaking caretaking, maintenance, cleaning, and security of the school site, resources, and grounds. Candidates should have caretaking or general maintenance skills, knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and procedures, and be flexible, energetic, and eager to work within our school community. Training will be provided, including around Pool Management.

Salary Grade: Grade 5 Pt 16 - 20 (£25,183 - £26,409 FTE, Pay Pending)
Actual Salary: £11,897 - £12,476
Working Hours: 15 hours, Wednesday to Friday (split shift 07:00 – 09:00 and 15:00 – 18:00), 52.143 weeks
