About the role
We are recruiting on behalf of a busy and successful school in the March area. The available role will begin in September 2026 and will continue for the entire Autumn term. There is a strong chance that this role will continue on until the end of the academic year.
As a full time teaching assistant, you will work on a 1-1 or small group basis with children who require additional support, helping them to access the work set by the class teacher.
We are looking for someone with a confident approach to building supportive relationships with children, particularly those with SEND. You will need to have a calm and empathetic approach and an understanding that behaviour is a means of communication. A working knowledge of the 'Cambridgeshire Therapeutic Approach' would be beneficial.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:
1. Have some experience or working in a school or similar setting
2. Hold a TA Qualification (desirable but not essential)
3. Have some experience of working with children with SEND
4. Have a genuine passion for working in education
5. Hold a full enhanced DBS clearance
6. Be able to provide two recent references to support your previous employment
7. Please note, this is a full time role

Salary
£93 to £100 per day
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
