We are recruiting on behalf of a respected Asbestos consultancy, who hold UKAS accreditation and a busy client portfolio. They are seeking an experienced and hardworking Asbestos Surveyor, who is able to hit the ground running and with a proven track record within the industry. Our client has recently won new domestic and local authority contracts in the Midlands, therefore they are ideally looking for someone within a reasonable distance to client sites. Experience / Qualifications:-Must hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent-Proven track record working as an Asbestos Surveyor-Working knowledge of HSG 264 and UKAS guidelines-Fully signed off for all asbestos surveys-Good literacy and numeracy skill level-Comfortable using IT software
The Role:-Undertaking management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys across domestic and local authority premises-Collecting ACM samples from site for analysis-Producing detailed technical survey reports and accompanying schematic drawings-Meeting with clients to advise on findings and make recommendations-Delivering samples to the laboratory-Working to agreed deadlines and personal targets-Wearing correct PPE at all times-Representing the company in a professional manner
