Job responsibilities
Join the team at Gregory House to provide care for people with continuing challenging behaviour and high support needs, and utilise your experience to support people to lead a valued and fulfilled life. The service operates 24/7 with 12.5 hour shifts and a zero hours contract for bank workers, giving you the flexibility to choose which shifts you want to work each week.
As part of the bank staff, you will be able to access available shifts at Gregory House, with the potential future option to work bank shifts regionally at other Elysium services across the region after completing a paid two-week induction.
Weekdays, nights and weekend shifts are regularly available and viewable/bookable through an app. You will receive an hourly rate that includes a 12.07% uplift to cover annual leave, plus access to a range of benefits including free meals on duty, free parking and more.
What you will be doing:
Provide care for people with continuing challenging behaviour and high support needs, using your experience to help them lead a valued and fulfilled life. Maintain a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance to support ongoing progress for service users.
Experience can be from the NHS or private sector; you will join the team as a Bank Healthcare Assistant and contribute to delivering high-quality healthcare in a demanding environment.
