Consultant in Public Health - Children and Young people and Mental Health Warwickshire Public Health, Warwickshire County Council Salary: HayT3A01 (£89,323 to £97,648) It’s an exciting time to join our Public Health team as we continue to work across our system to deliver on our Health and Wellbeing ambitions. Our focus is on improving and protecting the health of the people of Warwickshire and reducing preventable differences in health outcomes. This role is a real opportunity to make a difference to the lives of our residents. We are a dynamic, supportive, and solution-focused team. You will benefit from the foundations of established partnerships, working closely with the local LMNS, public health commissioners, mental health commissioning leads, and Children and Young People & Education team colleagues You will work closely with colleagues in Coventry on the suicide prevention agenda. You will be responsible for leading work on the Children and Young people (CYP) agenda and provide technical expertise to commissioners on the newly recommissioned 0-19 service. You will work with the local LMNS and input into specific CYP workstreams. You will work closely with the portfolio holder for children and young people and drive activity on CYP related priorities included in the council delivery plan. You will have oversight of the mental health portfolio, working closely with the commissioners responsible for specific public health funded mental health services and will work closely with Coventry City council in the delivery of a joint suicide prevention programme. You will provide technical expertise and support to South place, one of our three place-based partnerships and will be the public health lead for South place. This will require working closely with the district and borough councils in the South of the County. For further information please see the Job Description and Person Specification.
