Finance Business Partner / Liverpool / Salary £50,000 - £55,000 plus bonus and a competitive benefits package.
Accountable Recruitment are working in partnership with our client who are a leading organisation to recruit a commercially focused Finance Business Partner. This is an excellent opportunity to join a large, highly reputable business at an exciting stage of growth and transformation.
This role would suit a newly qualified finance candidate with a strong management accounts background, now looking to develop into a more Finance Business Partnering role. You will enjoy working closely with stakeholders, influencing decision-making, and adding real commercial value beyond the numbers.
The role
As a Finance Business Partner, you'll play a key role in supporting operational and senior stakeholders, providing insight, challenge, and guidance to drive business performance.
You'll take ownership of management reporting and planning processes, while also supporting strategic initiatives through analysis, forecasting, and continuous improvement of financial information.
* Partner with operational teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and performance management
* Produce monthly management accounts, balance sheet reviews, and variance analysis
* Lead on quarterly forecasts and annual budgeting cycles
* Provide meaningful financial insight to support decision-making and improve performance
* Develop and enhance KPIs and management information reporting
* Review P&L performance with stakeholders, identifying risks and opportunities
* Support capex planning, cashflow forecasting, and cost management
* Assist with audit processes and ensure strong financial controls
* Deliver ad-hoc analysis to support commercial and strategic initiatives
Key skills
* Fully qualified xsngvjr accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
* Proven experience in a management accounting or commercially focused finance role
* Strong Excel skills
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
* Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insight
* Proactive, organised, and able to manage competing priorities
