Responsibilities
* Act as the initial point of contact for stakeholders’ access to the service (including other professionals, service users, family, and carers).
* Ensure accurate records are added appropriately to the systems used, including electronic patient records.
* Work within a busy inpatient mental health ward as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Contribute to the wider administrative team across the locality/work stream.
* Manage workload, prioritise tasks, and adapt to constant changes in workload and capacity.
* Communicate effectively with a wide range of administrative skills.
* Manage routine and non‑routine tasks such as telephone call handling, typing patient‑related correspondence, arranging meetings with stakeholders, taking accurate minutes, and inputting data onto various systems, including Microsoft Office tools and electronic patient records.
