A well-regarded primary school in Manchester is seeking a Year 1 Teacher for a long-term placement starting February. This role is ideal for both ECTs and experienced teachers.
Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging, structured lessons in all areas of the curriculum
Monitor and assess pupil progress using school tracking systems
Promote positive behaviour and wellbeing
Collaborate with teaching assistants and leadership staff
Communicate effectively with parents and carers
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Understanding of EYFS and KS1 pedagogy
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Passionate about pupil progress and inclusion
