Responsible AI Manager - 12 months Fixed Term Contract, Global Leading Telecoms
We are seeking an experienced AI Governance Manager to join a global organisation operating across 20 markets. This is a high-impact role created to support a rapidly growing volume of AI use cases and to strengthen the organisation’s responsible AI framework.
You will play a critical role in ensuring robust AI risk assessment, governance, and oversight, with a focus purely on responsible AI. This is a fast-paced environment requiring someone who can operate independently and “hit the ground running.”
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support AI risk assessments across a large and growing portfolio of use cases
* Advise use case owners on: Completing governance questionnaires, understanding and mitigating AI-related risks.
* Contribute to the redesign and enhancement of the AI governance framework, including: Updating risk thresholds, improving assessment methodologies, refining questionnaires and processes, monitor and manage use cases via dashboards and reporting tools
* Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the business to embed responsible AI practices
* Support the evolution of governance processes into product and development workflows
Key Requirements
* Strong experience in AI governance, responsible AI, or AI risk management
* Deep understanding of AI use cases and associated risks (e.g. bias, model monitoring, ethical implications)
* Proven ability to conduct or lead complex risk assessments
* Experience designing or improving governance frameworks and processes
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment with minimal supervision
* Familiarity with AI governance tools, dashboards, or workflow integration
* Immediate availability or short notice period (ideally ~1 month) Candidates with a 3 month notice period will not be considered at this time.
* 2 days a week in office in central London.
