The salary for this position is up to £31,930 per annum and contains many benefits including the salary rising to £35,535 on successful completion of probation Benefits and Package for a Senior Clinical Case Manager: Salary: £31,930 per annum Hours: Monday - Friday, hours between 8am - 6pm (flexible working patterns available) Contract Type: Permanent Location: Taunton Additional leave Company events Company pension Cycle to work scheme Discounted or free food Employee discount Life insurance On-site parking Private medical insurance Referral programme Wellness programme Key Responsibilities of a Senior Clinical Case Manager: Providing advice in line with the latest clinical guidance, ensuring customers receive the right clinical decision Supporting colleagues and customers by taking front-line escalated medical queries and managing complex and challenging cases Liaising with healthcare professionals by phone and email to ensure we have all the information required for complex medical claims Reviewing escalated complaints and making recommendations for improvements to the healthcare offering Managing complex cases and continually seeking ways to improve the service and support offered Being a part of the customer pathway, proactively reviewing the eligibility for the customer to make use of their health policy in line with their policy cover. Signposting where required to enable access to other eligible services. Use clinical skills to make informed decisions on highly complex treatment eligibility e.g. levels of care, hospital length of stay and treatment options. Work proactively with providers to ensure care is appropriate to need and eligible under the customers policy. Able to carry out medical research to support claim decisions and ensure current and accurate evidence to support claims advice. Key Skills and Experience of a Senior Clinical Case Manager: A clinical background or healthcare experience is required You should have an understanding of common medical terminology You should be passionate about providing excellent customer service and helping those with their medical needs Cert CII qualification within probation and CPD maintained in accordance with CII requirements is required (if not a medical qualification needs to be completed) Excellent change-management, problem-solving and organisational skills is necessary If you are interested in this position as Senior Clinical Case Manager and have the relevant experience and qualifications required, please apply now!
