More About The Role
We've got an incredible opportunity that doesn't come around everyday for a Buying Assistant based at Myton Food Group Colne Manufacturing.
You will support the buying teams in ensuring the customer comes first. You will be responsible for making sure that all data and information is managed and entered to the appropriate timelines and will support the buying teams in their administrative requirements; proactively collaborating with key stakeholders across the supply chain.
So that you are set for success, we are looking for a self-starter, who is a great communicator with the ability to influence at all levels. You will work as part of a versatile team with a can-do culture, so it's important that you are tenacious and strive for excellence.
* Ability to manage multiple requirements to short timescales, with a desire to give excellent customer service
* Good attention to detail with a persistent and cann work at pace.
* Self motivated with a strong ability to plan and organise
* Good commercial and financial understanding and experience with strong numerical ability
* Strong ability to communicate effectively whether face to face, telephone or email
* Ability to analyse complex data
* Confident with an ability to use initiative and seek out solutions
