* Excellent starting salary at £39,500pa
* Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm working hours
* Full time and part time available (3, 4 or 5 days per week)
* Wigan based when working on-site

Role
The Functional Assessor role will involve carrying out three client assessments per day. A typical day will consist of telephone, video or face‑to‑face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life. You will listen to their experiences, ask questions, and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits. The DWP makes the final decision; your role is to gather information and produce the report.
Qualifications
* An NMC registered nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) or HCPC qualified physiotherapist, paramedic or occupational therapist with one year or more of broad post‑registration experience

* Proactive and keen to learn
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Competent IT and computer skills
* Comfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including mental health
