Accounts Assistant, Permanent, part time - 20 hours per week, Telford Your new company Hays are proud to be partnering exclusively with a highly regarded business in search of a Part-Time Accounts Assistant to join their friendly and dynamic team. This position offers approximately 20 hours per week, with flexibility when these hours are worked (eg 3 longer days or 4/ 5 shorter days). Your new role You’ll be a key support within the accounts department, working closely with the Food team across a variety of finance and administrative functions, including: Processing food invoices and reconciling supplier statements Investigating and resolving invoice and payment queries Assisting in the maintenance and continuous improvement of the stock management system Creating and analysing food costings to support business decisions Liaising with food stakeholders and supporting general admin tasks Providing holiday cover for purchase ledger, sales ledger and payroll as needed Communicating with the software provider to resolve system issues or implement updates What you'll need to succeed We’re looking for someone with a good grounding in accounts and a keen interest in IT. A positive, curious, and proactive mindset will go a long way here.
