The Celtic Collection, home to the iconic Celtic Manor Resort, is seeking an exceptional Director of Golf, Spa & Leisure to shape the strategic direction of some of the UK’s most renowned hospitality and wellbeing destinations.

You’ll lead diverse, high‑performing teams across Golf Operations, Retail, PGA Services, Spa Operations, Leisure Clubs, Membership, and Activities, delivering best‑in‑class service across every touchpoint.
What You’ll Lead & Create
As our Director, you will:
- Build and deliver the strategic vision for Golf, Spa and Leisure, driving performance, quality and guest loyalty.
- Champion a five‑star guest experience, ensuring every interaction reflects our values, service standards and exceptional brand reputation.
- Inspire and empower a talented leadership team, developing a culture rich in engagement, collaboration and professional growth.
- Drive commercial success, shaping budgets, identifying revenue opportunities, and leading cost‑effective operational excellence.
- Oversee iconic events, collaborating with internal and external partners to deliver world‑class experiences, from elite golf tournaments to high‑value corporate activities.
- Strengthen our brand, nurturing influential partnerships across the industry and positioning The Celtic Collection at the forefront of hospitality innovation.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a confident, strategic and people‑focused leader who brings:
- A minimum of 6 years’ senior experience in golf, spa or leisure leadership.
- A proven track record of driving results, elevating service standards and motivating large teams.
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience in budgeting, yield management, forecasting and operational planning.
- The ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, multi‑faceted environment with high guest expectations.
- A natural communicator and relationship‑builder who can engage with members, clients, event agents and senior stakeholders.
Desirable: Experience with large‑scale golf events, PGA qualification, exposure to major tour events, and experience in organisations with 500+ employees.
