This is an international manufacturing and production business based in south west London. They specialise in full-service design, packaging and manufacturing for top businesses across the beauty & health industry globally.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire a Management Accountant to join their finance department.
Role
Reporting into the Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will be involved in managing core accounting, and reporting activities across various European entities.
Key responsibilities include:
* Prepare monthly accruals and prepayments, and review P&L and balance sheet positions
* Manage transfer pricing activities and monitor entity margins
* Process rebates, commissions, payroll journals, and intercompany recharges
* Maintain the fixed asset register and support reporting and audit requirements
* Produce monthly financial commentary and supporting schedules
* Prepare weekly cash flow reports and maintain forecasting models
* Support international compliance and regulatory reporting across the UK and Europe
* Generate and maintain SQL and Power Query reports, ensuring data accuracy
* Drive process improvements and support automation initiatives
* Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide financial insight and support decision-making
Profile
The ideal profile for this Management Accountant position, should have the following:
* Part-qualified or qualified-by-experience Management Accountant
* 5+ years of experience in owning month-end & management accounting preparation
* Evidence of process improvements and streamlining
* Good understanding of double entry accounting (debits & credits)
* Strong communication skills both written and verbal
* Experience with SAP would be advantageous
Salary & Benefits
£55,000 - £60,000 plus benefits:
* Bonus scheme (10%)
* Hybrid working - 2-3 days in office
