Position Overview
We are seeking a disciplined and highly skilled Oil Heating & Plumbing Engineer to join our team. This role involves a diverse workload, including the installation, servicing and repair of domestic oil-fired appliances, pipework, and oil tank installations. General plumbing maintenance will also be required as part of the daily remit.
Operational Structure
Our company operates on a professional yard-to-yard basis, providing a clear structure to the working day.
* Paid Travel: Your day begins and ends at our secure yard in Dumfries. You are paid your full hourly rate for all time spent traveling from the yard to job sites and back.
* Overnight Projects: Occasional overnight stays are required for specific commercial or long-distance projects. All accommodation and subsistence costs are fully covered by the company.
* Commute: As vehicles are stored at our secure facility, candidates must have their own reliable transport for the daily commute to the yard.

Candidate Requirements
* Qualifications: Current OFTEC registration (101, 105e, 600a) is essential.
* Experience: Proven expertise in oil-fired systems, tank installations, and pipework.
* Standards: A professional approach to vehicle maintenance and tool organisation.
* License: Full UK driving license.
