The Mental Health Social Work Team have 1 full time social worker vacancy. The team are based at the Tickhill Road Hospital, Balby, Doncaster and offer free parking on site and an accessible building.
We are looking for motivated individuals with a passion for supporting people in Doncaster, to live in the place they call home with the people and things that they love, in communities where they look out for one another, doing things that matter to them You will also play a key role in the development and implementation of the locality based approach, using creative ways to support people to live the lives they choose, helping them to stay in control whilst improving their confidence, connecting them with their local communities and supporting them to find solutions.
As a Social worker within our teams, you will promote and embed our practice framework which is based on strong legally literate and rights-based practice The roles will involve undertaking holistic, good conversations with adults, carers and families to help them make informed choices and decisions, enabling them to clarify and express their needs and achieve their outcomes, manage risk and contribute to building a life, based on what matters to them.
