Legal Secretary Residential Conveyancing Location: Southampton Salary: £26-27,000 per annum | Permanent Hours: Full time, 09.00- 17.00 Are you an experienced Legal Secretary looking to join a warm, supportive and family-orientated law firm? We have a fantastic opportunity at our clients office near Southampton, supporting one experienced Fee Earner alongside another Legal Secretary in a friendly, non-commercial environment. This role has become available due to a long-serving team member’s retirement, a testament to the stability and culture of the firm. What You’ll Be Doing As Legal Secretary within the Residential Conveyancing department, you will play a vital part in keeping the team running smoothly: * Providing strong audio and copy typing support * Managing diaries, Organising meetings and handling daily workflow * Handling telephone and face-to-face enquiries from clients and third parties with confidence and professionalism * Assisting with client bills, reporting and preparing documentation * Maintaining files, drafting correspondence and ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date * Supporting the Fee Earner with general administrative duties as required What We’re Looking For * Previous experience as a Legal Secretary (Conveyancing preferred) * Strong audio and copy typing skills * Good knowledge of Outlook, Word and ideally Excel * A confident, friendly telephone manner * Excellent organisational and diary management skills * A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently If you would like to be considered for this vacancy, please contact Ellie Benson on (phone number removed)/(phone number removed)
