Overview
Compliance administrator / Executive Health and Safety / Environmental background required. Coalville. Office hours. Temp to perm. James Grace is currently recruiting for an experienced administrator within compliance and Health and Safety.
Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements.
* Conduct regular internal audits to assess adherence to compliance standards and identify areas for improvement.
* Prepare and submit accurate regulatory reports to relevant authorities within stipulated deadlines.
* Collaborate with the banking department to ensure all financial practices comply with applicable laws and regulations.
* Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance-related matters, fostering awareness of compliance obligations.
* Monitor changes in legislation and regulations that may impact the organisation’s operations and update policies accordingly.
* Assist in risk assessments related to compliance issues and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
* Experience in conducting internal audits with a keen eye for detail.
* Familiarity with banking operations and related regulatory frameworks.
* Proficient in regulatory reporting processes and requirements.
* Demonstrated ability in compliance management, ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies.
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations effectively.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling clear articulation of compliance issues to stakeholders.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
