Sous Chef – Pertemps
We are recruiting a Sous Chef to join a leading catering business based in Andover. This is a full‑time, permanent position.
Responsibilities
* Lead the kitchen team, ensuring new starters are fully onboarded and trained.
* Work closely with the Head Chef to maintain HACCP and SALSA standards, safeguarding our five‑star hygiene rating.
* Drive food safety practices, ensuring the safe handling, storing and preparation of all food items.
* Support menu creation and maintain food specifications that meet company standards.
* Cover Head Chef duties as required and deliver the highest level of customer service at all times.
* Oversee stock control and order sufficient supplies.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Sous Chef.
* Experience leading a team.
* Excellent level of English.
* HACCP Level 2 training is advantageous.
* Minimum Level 2 Food & Hygiene certification.
* Allergen certification.
* First Aider at work certification.
Pay & Hours
Pay is £38,000 dependent on experience. You will work 40 hours per week, with hours varying between 8 am – 4.30 pm or 10.30 am – 7 pm on a roster.
