Offer description

We’re recruiting on behalf of a privately owned, values-led business operating within the ingredients and supply sector. The company works with a wide range of UK customers and is known for its ethical approach, long-term partnerships, and high standards of service and quality.

They are looking to appoint a Sales Coordinator to support day-to-day sales operations and customer service, working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.


The Role

This is a varied coordination role supporting customer orders, internal communication, and sales administration. Full training is provided, making this well suited to someone with experience in customer service, sales administration, or office-based coordination who is looking for stability and development in a purpose-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities


Order Management

* Receive and process customer orders via email, phone, EDI, or online systems
* Check and confirm orders, progressing them through to invoicing and dispatch


Customer Support

* Manage order queries, delivery issues, and stock requests
* Support account managers with follow-ups and administration


Internal Coordination

* Liaise with production, planning, and despatch teams to meet customer requirements


Administration

* Maintain accurate records and run standard order reports
* Support wider sales administration activities


About You

* Reliable, professional, and detail-focused
* A collaborative team player with a positive, adaptable approach
* Well organised with good time management skills
* Comfortable learning new systems and processes


Preferred Experience

* Previous experience in customer service or sales administration
* Confident using Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook)


What’s On Offer

* Permanent, full-time role 36.5 hours per week
* Salary circa £25,000 per annum
* Office-based working in Somerset
* Monday to Friday hours with early Friday finish
* 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
