Duties of the Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
8. Conduct a wide range of complex diagnostics, repairs, and warranty work
9. Service electric and hybrid vehicles safely and efficiently, in line with manufacturer standards
10. Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve challenging issues
11. Complete hydraulic repairs and other vehicle maintenance tasks
12. Assist and mentor Apprentice Technicians to develop their skills
13. Maintain high safety and quality standards in line with company policies
Requirements of the Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
14. Minimum Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
15. Recognised Diagnostic Qualification is essential
16. Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar workshop environment
17. Strong teamwork and communication skills
18. Willingness to ongoing training, especially for electric and hybrid vehicle technology
19. A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service
20. Experience working in a main dealer or fast-paced workshop is preferred, but applications from those with relevant brand qualifications will also be considered
