Job Description
The post holder will manage and lead programme workstreams related to the Birmingham and Solihull (BSol) Integrated Care System (ICS) Allied Health Professionals (AHPs), AHP Delivery Strategy, and priorities. They will develop close working relationships with the Chief AHP Group (Council) and AHP System Leadership Group (Faculty). The role involves facilitating work on behalf of national and regional NHSE teams, creating strategic objectives, and supporting applications and bids to secure investment. The post holder will ensure the delivery of KPIs and evaluate programmes of work for the AHP Faculty to support service improvement and business development. Collaboration with stakeholders both internally and externally, such as NHS England, and engagement with local communities to ensure services are inclusive and reflect population diversity, are key responsibilities.

Main Duties
1. Support education programme leads and engage with relevant professional academics, education providers, and practice-based educational supervisors/leads on professional and multi-professional learning.
2. Liaise with NHSE professional counterparts in other regions and nationally.
3. Work alongside partner organisations and agencies to co-deliver programmes of work.
4. Use insight, experience, and an evidence-based approach to inform decision-making.
5. Proactively engage with BSol ICS professional leads and senior AHP leaders and others working in local health and social care systems.
6. Support and enable Faculty workstreams.
7. Ensure the adoption of best practices and share learning from transformation programme outcomes.
8. Provide BSol ICS Faculty programme leadership, governance, and support Professional Development for NHSE priority areas.
9. Offer professional voice, clinical advice, and support to NHSE regionally and nationally in delivering core functions.
10. Make decisions in a complex, uncertain environment where outcomes are not immediately apparent.
