About Us
Reach for Inclusion provides tailored education for young people with SEND who need a different approach to learning. Through our learning centres, outreach services, and training programmes, we create safe, nurturing environments where students can thrive.
What You’ll Be Doing
This is a hands-on, rewarding role where no two days are the same.
Supporting Learning
* Work closely with teachers to support students with SEND and EHCPs
* Deliver tailored interventions and adapt learning materials
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to keep students engaged
Supporting Wellbeing & Development
* Build strong, trusting relationships with students
* Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour
* Encourage independence, confidence, and social skills
Creating Inclusive Environments
* Help remove barriers to learning
* Support students with personal care or mobility needs where required
* Champion a culture where every student feels valued
Tracking Progress
* Record student progress and behaviour
* Contribute to EHCP reviews and learning plans
Safeguarding & Support
* Maintain a safe and supportive environment at all times
* Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures
* Uphold professionalism and confidentiality
Who We’re Looking For
You don’t need to tick every box—but you do need the right mindset.
Essential
* Experience working with children or young people with SEND
* Ability to build strong, trusting relationships
* Confident supporting behaviour and emotional needs
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Organised, proactive, and reliable
Desirable (but not essential)
* Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant (or similar qualification)
* Experience with autism, ADHD, SEMH, or complex needs
* Knowledge of strategies like PECS, Makaton, or sensory approaches
* First Aid / Team Teach training
* Driving licence and access to a car
