Reporting to: Accounting Manager
Contract: Full-Time (37.75 hours)
Working Hours: Monday–Thursday 8:00am–4:30pm, Friday 8:00am–2:00pm

The Opportunity
As a Financial Accountant, you’ll be a key member of the GBS Accounting team, gaining broad exposure across financial reporting, controls, and business partnering.
This role is perfect for someone looking to:

What You’ll Be Doing
5. Preparing and posting journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis
6. Supporting the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
7. Managing general ledger accounts, including inventory, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations
8. Performing intercompany accounting and reconciliations (AR, AP, loans)
9. Supporting cash and FX forecasting processes
10. Assisting in the preparation of UK statutory accounts
11. Ensuring compliance with SOX, internal controls, and corporate procedures
12. Driving process improvements and efficiencies
13. Responding to internal and external stakeholder queries with a strong customer focus
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications & Experience
14. Newly qualified or 1 year PQE as a ACCA / ACA / CIMA / ICAEW accountant
15. Experience in general accounting, financial reporting, or audit
16. Exposure to financial systems (Oracle experience beneficial but not essential)
17. Knowledge of UK GAAP
