In this role, you'll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships. A Typical Day in the Job: Act as the first point of contact for IT issues and queries from UK staff. Support with installation, configuration, and maintenance of laptops, PCs, printers, network switches, routers and mobile devices. Escalate issues to external IT support providers when required, ensuring timely resolution. Manage IT equipment inventory and maintain accurate asset records. Support the onboarding and offboarding of employees (setting up user accounts, equipment, and permissions). Document IT processes, setup guides, and troubleshooting notes for internal use. Learn and contribute to process improvement initiatives in collaboration with the Projects & Systems Manager. Assist with IT-related projects such as system migrations, application rollouts, or hardware upgrades. Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships. Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge Strong interest in IT, technology, and problem solving. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work independently when needed. Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel). Reliable, organised, and detail oriented. Grade 4 in GCSE Mathematics & Grade 5 in GCSE English Awareness of networks, printers, or mobile device setup. Salary, Hours&Benefits: £17,000-£21,000 per annum. 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in IT support.
