We are building a world-class organisation — and now require a Marketing Director capable of evolving into our future Chief Marketing Officer as we move into our next phase of explosive growth.
The Role
This is a senior executive role where you will own the full marketing engine, set the strategy, lead the team, and build the systems that scale our growth nationally and internationally.

This is a role for a leader who thinks at C-suite level — someone who can architect a long-term marketing vision, execute it with precision, and build a powerful marketing department that becomes one of the strongest engines inside the business.
The right candidate will grow into the Chief Marketing Officer role.
Your Core Responsibilities
1. Own the entire marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with revenue targets, product strategy, and long-term business goals.
2. Build and lead the marketing department, including digital, performance, brand, creative, content, automation, and analytics teams.
3. Create the marketing vision for the next 3–5 years, owning all strategic planning, budgeting, and departmental forecasting.
4. Act as a senior leader in the business, contributing to Board discussions, product roadmapping, and commercial planning.
Performance Marketing, Funnels & Digital Growth
1. Oversee all digital performance channels including paid social, PPC, YouTube, SEO, email marketing, and retargeting.
2. Architect high-performing funnels for all programmes and new product launches.
3. Own and optimise all tracking, attribution, analytics, A/B testing, and funnel reporting.
4. Set performance KPIs across CPL, CPA, ROAS, CAC, conversion rates, and lifetime value.
Brand, Content & Creative Strategy
1. Own the Trade Mastermind brand, ensuring consistency, clarity, and strong market positioning across all channels.
2. Lead a content strategy that attracts, nurtures, and converts leads throughout the entire customer lifecycle.
3. Oversee production of high-quality video, ad creatives, long-form content, landing pages, emails, and sales assets.
4. Shape the brand voice, identity, and messaging across the UK and international markets.
Marketing Automation, CRM & Backend Operations
1. Own marketing automation strategy across all journeys, funnels, and customer segments.
2. Lead CRM optimisation (Ontraport), ensuring seamless integration with Sales, Delivery, and Customer Success.
3. Enhance backend operational efficiency through tagging, segmentation, lead scoring, lifecycle journeys, and automations.
4. Implement scalable backend processes that keep marketing running like a well-engineered machine.
Data, Analytics & Growth Intelligence
1. Build the full analytics ecosystem for marketing, owning dashboards, reporting suites, and leadership insights.
2. Use data to drive decision-making, forecast performance, and refine strategy.
3. Implement continuous improvement frameworks so every campaign, funnel, and channel evolves with the business.
4. Provide the CEO with clear insights, revenue impact reports, and strategic recommendations.
Leadership, Team Development & Hiring
1. Lead, coach, and expand a high-performing marketing team with future scale in mind.
2. Recruit top talent across digital, performance, creative, content, and automation.
3. Implement structured KPIs, performance management, development plans, and leadership succession.
4. Build a culture of creativity, accountability, and data-driven excellence.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience at Marketing Director level — or a Head of Marketing ready to step into a CMO path.
Deep expertise in digital performance marketing, funnel architecture, and analytics.
Strong background in CRM, automation, segmentation, and backend optimisation.
Strategic thinker with the ability to create long-term marketing plans and execute at speed.
Strong leadership skills with experience building and scaling high-performing teams.
Highly commercial and comfortable owning KPIs that tie directly to revenue growth.
Analytical, data-driven, and experienced with high-budget digital campaigns.
Experience in education, coaching, SaaS, service-led businesses, or fast-growth scale-ups is a plus.
Degree in Marketing, Business, or similar — though experience and capability matter more.

£100,000–£120,000 base salary depending on experience
