Talented Chef De Partie required for a popular and extremely busy English country pub located on the South Downs close to Goodwood.
We are looking for an experienced, reliable, talented & ambitious Chef to join our friendly and professional kitchen team, who can start on an immediate basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring consistency and adherence to food safety standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a genuine interest in culinary arts to develop their skills and contribute to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities
* Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
* Assist in the organisation and cleanliness of the kitchen area
* Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
* Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
* Maintain stock levels and notify management of shortages or equipment issues
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
* Assist with meal preparation during busy periods, supporting overall kitchen efficiency
Skills
* Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
* Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure
* Good understanding of meal preparation techniques and culinary processes
* Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable
* Ability to work as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and a positive attitude
* Experience serving customers or working in hospitality is advantageous
* Excellent working knowledge of starters & desserts
