We are looking for a driven, diligent, and friendly Groups and Events Sales Coordinator to join the team at The London EDITION hotel.

Join and work alongside a highly experience teams.

As a Groups and Events Coordinator you will:

20. Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
21. Answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns.
22. Perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing (., filing, sending emails, typing, faxing).
23. Use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty to Marriott, including up selling.
24. Contact appropriate individual or department (., Sales, Data Administration, Accounting, Operation Teams ) as necessary to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems.
25. Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally
26. Provide administrative support to Group and Events Sales Team, responsible for day-to-day correspondence
27. Participate in relevant alignment meetings such as weekly group resume meetings and BEO meetings, PM/credit meetings
28. Responsible for the general document, correspondence t production and distribution to include handover documents, BEO’s, daisy events internal and external, proposals, groups resumes and contracts

Our most successful Groups and Events Sales Coordinator is someone who:

29. Demonstrates exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with guests, co-workers, and management.
30. Possesses strong attention to detail and organizational abilities for managing multiple tasks accurately and efficiently.
31. Exhibits sales acumen to maximize revenue through upselling opportunities and effective negotiation.
32. Displays a customer-focused approach and problem-solving skills to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve issues promptly.
33. Knowledge of Opera will be an advantage
34. Experience in planning event or conference hotel services preferred
