Job Type: Part-time, Temp to perm (Contract length: 12 months)

About the Role
Gecko Care is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in providing compassionate care for individuals in a home care setting. The role involves supporting service users with daily activities and ensuring their well-being in their home. You would need to travel door to door and provide the required services.
Responsibilities
* Communicate effectively with service users, families, and colleagues
* Assist in implementing care plans tailored to individual needs
* Provide support with personal care tasks
* Maintain accurate records using IT systems
* Offer emotional support and companionship to residents
Requirements
* Proficient in English, both spoken and written
* Experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous
* Ability to work well in a team and independently
* Compassionate nature and empathy towards others
* Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication
Education:
* GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
* Home care: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
* Driving Licence (preferred)
