Day Care Assistant – Elderly Residential Care Service

Location: Glenholme Senior Living Thimbleby Court, Horncastle
Salary: £13.00 per hour
Hours: 33 and 22 hours per week available 

Shifts: 12-hour day shifts (including 1 hour unpaid break), including alternate weekends

Led by Registered Manager Hazel Whittaker, our friendly and dedicated team is looking for caring individuals to support our residents during the day. Experience is not essential. Full training and ongoing support will be provided, making this a fantastic opportunity to begin or grow your career in care.

Thimbleby Court is a welcoming elderly residential care home in the heart of Horncastle. We provide person-centred residential care for older adults, supporting individuals with daily living, health needs, and emotional wellbeing in a comfortable, homely setting.

Your Responsibilities as a Care Assistant

• Supporting older adults to remain safe, comfortable, and well cared for during the day
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Supporting with personal care
• Assisting with mobility around the home
• Overseeing medication and monitoring health needs
• Supporting with meals, drinks, and nutrition
• Helping maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
• Encouraging engagement in activities and daily routines
